As a kitchen witch, the heart of your craft lies in the everyday rhythms of the home, especially in the kitchen. Here, magic isn’t confined to spells and potions; it’s infused into meals, tea, and the act of nourishing yourself and those you love. Incorporating daily rituals into your practice allows you to weave magic into the mundane, creating a life that feels sacred and connected.

Morning Magic: Setting the Tone for the Day

1. Create a Magical Morning Brew

Every kitchen witch knows the power of a good morning ritual. Whether you’re sipping coffee, tea, or something herbal, take a moment to infuse your drink with intention. As you stir clockwise, think about what you’d like to invite into your day—peace, focus, or energy—and stir counterclockwise to release anything that no longer serves you.

2. Light a Candle

Before diving into the day, light a candle at your kitchen altar or windowsill. Choose a color that resonates with your intentions: white for clarity, green for abundance, or yellow for joy. As the flame flickers, take a moment to connect with its energy, setting the tone for a day filled with magic.

3. Bless Your Ingredients

If you’re making breakfast, take a moment to connect with your ingredients. Whisper gratitude to the eggs, fruit, or bread, acknowledging the earth’s role in providing your sustenance. This small act transforms a simple meal into an offering of thanks.

Midday Rituals: Nourishment and Connection

4. Mindful Meal Preparation

When it’s time for lunch, treat the act of cooking as a meditative ritual. Chop vegetables with care, stir soups with love, and add herbs with intention. Each motion becomes an act of devotion, connecting you to the energies of nature and the cycles of the earth.

5. Herbal Magick

Incorporate herbs into your meals not just for flavor but for their magical properties. Basil can bring prosperity, rosemary can offer protection, and thyme can invite courage. Sprinkle these with intention, visualizing their energy infusing your dish.

6. Kitchen Cleansing

A tidy kitchen is a sacred space. Take a few minutes to clean your counters, sweep the floor, or wash dishes with mindful care. As you do, imagine clearing away stagnant energy, leaving your space ready to welcome fresh inspiration.

Evening Rituals: Rest and Reflection

7. Cook with the Moon in Mind

Align your cooking with the moon’s phase for an extra layer of magic. During the waxing moon, focus on meals that promote growth and abundance, like hearty stews or grain bowls. During the waning moon, create dishes that encourage release, such as cleansing broths or teas.

8. Gratitude Practice

Before eating dinner, pause to express gratitude. You might say a simple prayer, hold hands with loved ones, or take a deep breath to honor the effort and energy behind your meal.

9. Kitchen Witch Journal

As the day winds down, spend a few moments journaling about your kitchen magic. Reflect on what went well, the intentions you set, or any synchronicities you noticed. This practice helps you deepen your connection to your craft and keeps you aligned with your purpose.

Quick Rituals for Busy Days

Even on the busiest days, a kitchen witch can weave small moments of magic into their routine. These quick rituals take just a few minutes but still carry intention and meaning.

  • Sigil Activation with Steam – Draw a simple sigil for protection, abundance, or calm on a piece of parchment. Place it near a steaming cup of tea or a pot of simmering food to activate its energy.
  • Salt Sweep for Energy Clearing – Quickly sprinkle a small amount of salt over your kitchen floor before sweeping it up. This removes stagnant energy while physically cleaning the space.
  • Charmed Spoon Stirring – Dedicate a wooden spoon for magical use. Before cooking, hold it for a few moments, charge it with your intention, and use it to stir your dish with purpose.
  • Essential Oil Cleansing Spray – If you don’t have time for a deep kitchen cleanse, make a simple spray with water, lemon, and rosemary essential oil. Spritz your counters, cutting boards, and even the air to refresh the space.
  • Intentional Toasting – Whether it’s bread in the toaster or a slice of warm buttered toast, take a moment to trace a sigil or rune into it with your fingertip before eating, infusing it with magic.

Kitchen Witch Tools & Correspondences

The tools of a kitchen witch are more than just utensils—they are conduits for magic, intention, and energy. Here are some essential items to infuse your daily cooking with magic:

  • Wooden Spoons – Used for stirring intention into meals. Some witches dedicate different spoons for different types of magic (love, protection, abundance).
  • Mortar & Pestle – Ideal for grinding herbs and spices, this tool connects you to ancient traditions of herbal magic and spellwork.
  • Copper Pots & Kettles – Copper is associated with Venus and love magic. Using copper cookware can enhance warmth and harmony in your meals.
  • Cauldron – A small cauldron can be used for burning herbs, holding offerings, or brewing magical soups and teas.
  • Besom (Kitchen Broom) – Traditionally used to sweep away negativity and stagnant energy, a small besom can be kept in the kitchen for spiritual cleansing.
  • Chopping Boards & Knives – The act of chopping can be a form of releasing or transformation. Using specific cutting motions with intention (such as slicing away negativity) can turn meal prep into a magical practice.
  • Crystal-Infused Water Jars – Keeping a small jar of moon-charged water on the counter can enhance tea, soup, or even cleaning sprays with extra magic.
  • Tea Kettle or Coffee Pot – Used daily, these become powerful tools for brewing potions, whether it’s morning coffee for focus or chamomile tea for peace.

Each tool carries energy, and by treating them with respect and intention, you turn your entire kitchen into a sacred space of magic and nourishment.

Small Daily Touches of Kitchen Magic

  • Kitchen Altar Maintenance: Keep your altar clean and adorned with seasonal elements, fresh flowers, or a small dish of salt for protection.
  • Seasonal Spices: Rotate your spice rack based on the season, adding warmth in the winter with cinnamon and cloves or freshness in spring with mint and dill.
  • Charged Water: Keep a jar of moon-charged water in your kitchen to add to tea, soups, or cleaning sprays for an extra magical boost.

Embrace the Magic in the Everyday

The beauty of being a kitchen witch is that your craft is inherently woven into your daily life. Every meal, every cup of tea, and every act of cleaning can become a spell or offering. By embracing these rituals, you’ll find yourself more connected to your kitchen, your home, and the magic that flows through it all.

Within the realm of spirituality there are many paths a witch can decide to take. Some witches are drawn to the elements, others to the moon, and still others to the cycles of nature. But there is a special kind of witch who feels an irresistible pull towards the unseen, the spiritual realm that exists just beyond the veil and the beings behind it. This witch is known as a Spirit Guide Witch—a practitioner who works closely with spirit guides, forming deep and meaningful relationships with these ethereal beings to guide their magical and spiritual practices.

What is a Spirit Guide Witch?

A Spirit Guide Witch is someone who dedicates their practice to connecting with spirit guides—those benevolent entities that exist in the spiritual realm and offer wisdom, protection, and support. These guides can take many forms, such as ancestors, animals, deities, or even elemental spirits. For the Spirit Guide Witch, their relationships with their guides are not just a part of their practice—they are the foundation of it.

Spirit guides are seen as mentors and companions, offering guidance in both mundane and magical matters. They can help you navigate life’s challenges, provide insight during difficult decisions, and even assist in your magical workings. The connection with these guides is deeply personal, and each witch’s relationship with their guides is unique.

Signs you might be a Spirit Guide Witch

Wondering if you might be a Spirit Guide Witch? Here are some signs that this path might be calling you:

  • You can’t stop researching about what spirit guides are, who they are, and learning about different entities
  • You feel like you want to reach out to a spirit guide but you’re not sure where to start
  • You feel pulled towards certain realms
  • You have dreams where you meet spirit guides
  • You are sensitive to the energy around you
  • You receive signs but you’re not sure who from
  • Your intuition keeps guiding you back to connecting with your spirit guides
  • You feel like there is a presence around you who wants to connect

Daily Rituals of a Spirit Guide Witch

Daily rituals are the heart of a Spirit Guide Witch’s practice. These rituals help maintain a strong connection with their guides and ensure that they are always in tune with the guidance being offered. As with all rituals, never feel forced to do them daily. There may be seasons where you do connect in daily and other times when you connect in monthly or seasonally. There is no right path. But here are some ideas for how to connect daily:

Morning Meditation: The day often begins with a meditation session focused on connecting with spirit guides. This can be a time to set intentions, ask for guidance for the day ahead, or simply to feel the presence of your guides.

Offering Rituals: Many Spirit Guide Witches create a small altar dedicated to their guides (or have many small altars or altar items representing different guides). Daily offerings—such as candles, herbs, a bowl of water, or even a quiet moment to check in—are made to honor these spiritual beings and invite their presence into the witch’s life.

Divination Practices: Tools like tarot cards, pendulums, or runes are frequently used to communicate with spirit guides. A daily draw of a tarot card or a quick pendulum session can offer guidance and insight from the guides.

Journaling: Keeping a spirit guide journal is a common practice. This is a space where the witch records messages received, insights gained, and experiences with their guides. Some Spirit Guide Witches also practice automatic writing, allowing their guides to communicate directly through written words.

Grounding and Protection: Spirit Guide Witches often perform grounding rituals, calling upon their guides to provide protection and clarity as they move through their day. This can be as simple as visualizing roots extending from your feet into the earth, while your guides stand watch around you.

Seasonal Practices of a Spirit Guide Witch

As a Spirit Guide Witch, your connection with your guides can deepen with the changing seasons. Each season offers a unique energy that can enhance your practice and help you connect with your guides in different ways. If you’re like me, a lot of your practices my ebb and flow with the changing of the seasons. If you’re connecting in with your guides seasonally, here’s some ideas for each season to align your intentions with your spirit guides with what’s going on in nature:

Spring: Spring is a time of renewal and new beginnings. It’s the perfect season to cultivate relationships with new spirit guides or to renew your connection with existing ones. Engage in rituals that honor the renewal of life and ask your guides for the guidance needed to grow and flourish.

Summer: With the heightened energy of summer, it’s a great time to work with your guides to manifest your goals. Use the long, sunlit days for extended meditation sessions or outdoor rituals in nature. Your guides can help you harness this vibrant energy to bring your visions to life.

Autumn: As the year winds down, autumn is a time for reflection and gratitude. Reflect on the harvest of your spiritual work with your guides and engage in rituals of thanks. This is also a time to prepare for the deeper, introspective work that comes with the colder months. This is also a perfect time to check in with your ancestors.

Winter: Winter invites deep inner work and a stronger focus on communication with your guides. Engage in practices that strengthen your connection, such as dream work, shadow work, and rituals that honor your ancestors. The stillness of winter provides the perfect backdrop for deep spiritual exploration.

Being a spirit guide witch is about more than just working with as many guides as you can; it’s about forming meaningful, reciprocal relationships with spiritual guides who help you navigate both your magical practice and your everyday life. Whether you’re already feeling the call or just beginning to explore this path, remember that your guides are always with you, ready to offer their wisdom and support whenever you need it.

I’ve been doing psychic readings for other people for about 6 years now. It’s something that I’ve practiced A LOT, but when I was first starting out I really wasn’t sure how to find my own style. I did have a coach (who is the best), but even with her help I still had to work out on my own what works best for me. My hope is that if you’re wanting to learn how to do psychic readings for yourself or others this post gives you some ideas to start practicing.

Before I start though, I do want to make a note that you should only attempt to read someone who has consented to the reading. Also, it’s ok if you’re not in a place where you feel safe or ready to do your own readings, there’s no need to rush :). Finally, if you’re wanting to do readings to give someone(s) SPECIFIC advice, I’d recommend you hold off on the reading – while we can go into a reading hoping to touch on a certain topic I don’t believe it’s a good practice to go in with a plan for the guidance you’re going to give, instead we should be open to receive what’s coming through and not what our ego is wanting to tell someone.

With all of that said, let’s start.

How I track what’s coming up during a reading:

Before you get started you might want to decide what why you’re going to send the message to the person you’re giving a reading for or if you’re doing the reading for yourself you still might want to find a way to record what came up since you might not remember everything that came up while you were doing the reading. When I do readings for other people I almost always type in steam of consciousness whatever is being sent through. But here’s some ideas:

  • Write in a journal exactly what’s coming up
  • Type in stream of consciousness
  • Record yourself repeating the information you’re receiving
  • Take short notes
  • OR if you’re doing the reading in person you can just explain what you’re getting and allow them to ask questions after each segment of guidance you receive

Steps for a reading:

Everyone is going to do readings differently, but I’m going to walk you through my exact process. If any of these steps don’t resonate, feel free to skip. As with everything, take what works, tweak what needs tweaking, and leave the rest. This is just a process to figure out what feels right for your flavor of doing readings.

  1. Find a place to do your reading. I go to a certain spot in my house, settle in, and then I have a specific song I play for all of my readings.
  2. Then take some time to notice your physical body. Note what is coming up for you. What sensations are you feeling? You want to make sure there’s separation between YOUR experience/body and what’s coming up as guidance for the person you’re reading.
  3. Clear your mind and take some cleansing breaths to release whatever you were feeling before.
  4. Let go of any notions of how this reading should go and empty yourself of your thoughts.
  5. Do an opening ritual – prayer, call in the best and highest good of all involved, protection (if that’s something that worries you – but I have a general intention that only safe things come through)
  6. Go into your heart space or your mind’s eye. I picture myself in a field of my heart space to begin and I allow myself to fully be in that space.
  7. Call in your guides and the guides of the person you’re reading. I call in the same two guides every reading I do and I have them over my left shoulder the entire time I’m doing a reading. Ask them to send you guidance for the person you’re reading and support you as you relay the messages.
  8. Notice what comes up – colors, feelings, sensations, thoughts, anything. No thought is wrong (unless it feels wrong lol, then redirect your guides to help stay in a safe space).
  9. Record what’s coming up from the method you picked earlier.
  10. Once you’ve recorded everything and the reading feels complete thank you guides and the guides of the person you’re reading (and any other guides that might have shown up).
  11. Finally, close the space with a closing ritual (sending gratitude for the session, disconnecting yourself from the person you’re reading, leaving your heart space and coming back to your physical reality).

Tips:

  1. Don’t overthink. It’s ok if what you’re saying doesn’t resonate with the person. You’re practicing and once it clicks for you, you’ll know how receiving a message will feel.
  2. Don’t question UNLESS what is coming through feels harmful and unsafe to you or would be harmful to share with the person you’re reading for. Ask to see this information in a different way. If it’s still coming up and feels off, discard it.
  3. Remember you are just the messenger, it is not your job to tell people what to do or receive the information. Pass the information as you received it. You don’t know how it’ll be interpreted for the person.
  4. It does take practice and it’s ok if you don’t get 100% of things right. You’re learning how to do this and you’re figuring out what feels true as you’re receiving information. It takes time to understand what is your body speaking about YOUR experiences and when it is your intuition giving you messages to pass on

I am wishing you so much luck on this journey! Once you learn how you best receive messages it is sooo much fun to connect with other people through offering readings to help them on their own journey.

One spirit guide that might be the most personal to us, is our inner child. This guide can be accessed at anytime and will always be with you – the unique thing about this guide is you can send as much love and guidance back to it as they send to you. They’re here to help you heal, grow, play, dream, and just walk alongside you all through your life.

This blog is to talk about practices that have worked for me – but I know everyone’s childhood experiences differ and if this subject is too much, please don’t push yourself to do anything that is too difficult (and use that approach for all spiritual practices! There is nothing wrong with not participating in something and instead getting professional guidance to work through wounds).

Why Connect with Your Inner Child

I have loved connecting with the inner child guide – she is the sweetest, most creative, and insightful guide I have. Here’s some reasons to connect with your inner child:

  • Healing
  • Connection
  • Tap into your creativity
  • Give yourself something your adult self might have a hard time doing
  • Play

How to Connect with Your Inner Child

Here’s some practices you can do to connect with your guide:

  • Make a list of all of the things you loved doing as a kid
  • Make a list of all of the things you wanted to do as a kid but never do
  • Think about who you wanted to be when you were a kid
  • Meditate with them in your heart space
  • Send them the love they wished they had as a kid
  • Write a letter to your inner child, say everything you want them to know
  • Write a letter from your inner child
  • Reparent yourself
  • Play as if you are you as a kid

I hope this gives you some ideas for how to get started with a connection with your inner child spirit guide!

In this post we’ll journey into our mind’s eye to meet a spirit guide. We will set the intention that whatever comes through for you feel safe, comfortable, reassuring, and is exactly what you need in this moment. If at anytime you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or want to leave the journey you are safe to do so. You are in complete control of your experience and can shift or stop the journey at anytime.

What is a Spirit Guide?

Before we meet your spirit guide, let’s chat about what a spirit guide is. The answer will likely vary from person to person but my definition and experience with spirit guides are that they are any being that we can connect with in the spirit realm. There are so many types of guides available to connect with you and who are waiting to connect with you. There are guides that will walk with us for a short time, as well as guides who will stay with us our entire life. They’re here to inspire you, calm you, guide you, push you, and surround you with love and acceptance.

Meet Your Spirit Guide

As you read this journey to meet your guide, you will allow yourself to go into your mind’s eye, but you know what you experience in this journey is safe, comfortable, and exactly what you need in this moment…

Imagine you’re walking slowly down a path through a forest. You feel the grass on the bottom of your feet with each step. The pathway is soft from the feet that have walked the path before you. You hear the birds in the trees all around you and you feel a soft warm breeze. You feel calm, safe, and comfortable as you continue down this path.

You continue walking as you begin to see a clearing opening at the end of the path ahead. The clearing is surrounded by trees but the sun still shines down and fills the clearing with a warm golden light. You notice someone in the center waiting for you with a kind, safe smile. You walk closer to them.

They take your hands and you begin to look them over. You take note of their face, their aura, how you feel in their presence…you have never felt more safe and held than in this moment with them. You smile back at them and ask their name. They tell you it and whatever name came through (or even if no name came through) you trust it.

Your guide then shows you a symbol that the two of you will use to build your connection. When you see this symbol, you’ll remember your guide and how supported you are by them. They are here to help you. You send gratitude to them for presenting the symbol.

You ask your guide how they want to work with you…when they respond you trust their response and it feels safe in your body. You stand with them a bit longer, taking in their presence, learning how they make you feel, leaning into the security their presence provides you and the confidence and reassurance they give you that you are on the right path and nothing could ever take you off of it. You believe them.

You then take one more look at their face and remember all that you have learned with your guide during this meeting. You take in the clearing that’s filled with the golden light. You and your guide thank each other for meeting together at last.

You turn back to the path that you came from and begin walking back into the forest. You begin to notice the soft grass again meeting the bottom of your foot on each step. Before you enter the forest again, you turn back towards the clearing and see your guide standing there watching you, and you can feel the love and support they are sending you through each step forward you take. You smile at each other once more and then enter the forest again.

With each step in the forest you start to feel yourself leave the place in your mind’s eye and begin returning to the place you are sitting in this physical reality. You remember all you were told and all that you felt during this journey to meet your guide.

You have returned to your body, refreshed, grateful, and inspired to continue on.

How to Continue to Work with Your Spirit Guide

Now that you’ve met your guide, you might want to take some time and journal about the experience. If you haven’t already started a spirit guide journal or a spiritual journal, now might be a perfect time to do so.

Some of the things you could write about are:

  1. What was your guide’s name

  2. What symbol did they show you?

  3. How do they want to work with you? (for me, this was normally meditation, through tarot, through acknowledgement, through my intuition, etc)

  4. How did they look?

  5. How did you feel when you were around them?

  6. What questions do you want to ask them next time you meet?

Some other things you could do with your guides, I like to call ‘spirit guide games,’ is get playful with them and lightly ask for them to play back with you.

Spirit Guide Games could look like:

  1. Ask for guidance in music – Put a playlist on shuffle and focus elsewhere so you’re not hyper-focusing on each word

  2. Ask to see a sign – Ask to see a physical sign (butterflies, a certain flower, etc.) and be open to it coming to you in an unexpected way.

  3. Ask to see a particular number – Angel numbers, birth days, numbers with special meaning. Ask your guides to send you numbers throughout the day.

  4. Ask to see their name – If you already know your spirit guides name, ask them to send you reminders throughout the day and send their name to you. Be open to how you receive this.

  5. Ask to feel their presence – If you feel comfortable, ask to physically feel their presence. You might feel goosebumps or just a knowing that they’re there with you.

  6. Channeled Writing – Open your journal with the intention to connect with a guide. Place your pen/pencil on the paper and let your hand guide your writing. Here’s 18 questions you can ask your spirit guides to help get you started.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you were able to have a direct line of communication with your spirit team? Have you ever felt a deep desire to tap into a higher source of wisdom and guidance? Channeled writing is a practice that can lead you on a transformative journey of self-discovery, connecting you with so many spiritual guides. During the next 30 days, you will dive into channeled writing, opening up your channel to receive insights, inspiration, and guidance from your spirit team.

What is Channeled Writing?

Channeled writing is a form of automatic writing where you act as a conduit for receiving messages, information, or insights from spiritual entities. This practice is rooted in the belief that we are connected to a higher source of knowledge and wisdom, and through focused intention and an energy of receiving, we can establish a connection with our spiritual guides and higher selves.

Channeled Writing Challenge

Each day, you will focus on connecting with a different spiritual guide. Set aside a quiet space, grab your journal, and trust the experience.

Let’s explore each day of the challenge:

Day 1 – Set an Intention for the Next 30 Days

Before you begin this transformative journey, it’s crucial to set a clear intention for what you hope to achieve. Consider what you want to learn, who you wish to connect with, and how you want to grow spiritually. Write down your intention to guide your practice throughout the next 30 days.

Day 2 – Ask for a Spirit Guide to Come Through

Invite a spirit guide to connect with you. Be open to their presence and any messages they may have for you.

Day 3 – Ask to Connect with Your Higher Self

Your higher self represents the true, enlightened version of yourself. Use this day to establish a connection with your higher self and gain insights into your purpose and life path.

Day 4 – Ask to Connect with a Past Life Version of Yourself

Explore your past lives and see how they may be influencing your current journey. Connect with a past life version of yourself and seek understanding and healing.

Day 5 – Ask to Connect with Your Body

Connect with your physical being to understand its needs, challenges, and the wisdom it holds.

Day 6 – Connect with Mother Nature

Nature is a powerful source of energy and wisdom. Establish a connection with the natural world, whether it’s a tree, a river, or the entire Earth itself. Learn from the wisdom of Mother Nature.

Day 7 – Connect with Your Inner Child

Your inner child carries your innocent, creative, and joyful essence. Reconnect with this aspect of yourself and embrace the playful wisdom it offers.

Day 8 – Ask to Connect with a Future Version of Yourself

Get a glimpse of your potential and the path ahead by connecting with a future version of yourself. This exercise can provide guidance on your life’s direction.

Day 9 – Ask to Connect with a Goddess

Create Your Heart Meditation Space https://softspirituality.com/2023/11/01/create-your-heart-meditation-space/ Wed, 01 Nov 2023 14:44:39 +0000 Creating a heart meditation space is a powerful practice for newcomers to spirituality. By envisioning a personal sanctuary within, one can connect with spirit guides, ancestors, and inner child, and engage in meditation and divination. Trusting intuition and creating a comforting environment are key to unlocking the potential of this sacred space.

Creating your heart meditation space is one of my favorite practices for people who are newer to spirituality. There’s really no limit to what you can do in your heart meditation space and it gives you a safe place to practice spirituality when you might not yet be comfortable doing it in the physical world yet.

What is your heart meditation space?

Your heart meditation space is your energetic heart/soul that is channeled through your mind’s eye. It’s a space you get to create and go to that feels like home to you when you close your eyes. When I close my eyes and visit my heart space I’m in the middle of a field with a huge oak tree to my left and the bottom of a cliff to my right. The ocean is straight ahead and in the distance to the left is a beach with a small beach cottage. I go to this space when I’m working with my spirit guides, when I want to let my inner child run wild, or when I want to meet with passed loved ones. I’ve been creating my heart space for over 5 years and it’s adjusted over time, but I now know this space like I would my home. I hope by creating your heart space you create a place that feels like the essence of your heart as well.

How to create your space

If you’ve never done a meditation that guides you through visiting your heart space, here are a few steps for how to create yours.

  1. Find a peaceful place to go Find a calm, quiet space and get cozy. Start focusing on intentional breaths. Tip: Set up the space using each of your senses; lighting (sight), oils (scent), cozy drink (taste), soft music (hearing), a crystal to hold or a soft blanket (touch).
  2. Close your eyes and picture a little version of yourself walking into your heart (or soul) Once your physical space feels ready and you feel comfortable, close your eyes. Then with your eyes closed pictured a small version of you going into the energetic area of your heart (or your soul if you prefer).
  3. Trust what comes through It’s ok if this feels silly at first or you feel confused, but during this process I want you to trust what’s coming through. Are you in the ocean, the forest, a field, a city, a house, an alien planet? It’s ok to see in your mind’s eye anything that is coming through. Go with it and let yourself start to explore this area. Walk around, touch what you’re seeing.
  4. Adjust what feels off This is your heart space, so while I want you to trust what’s coming through, if anything feels uncomfortable to you or feels weird, change it. If you found yourself in a dark forest and it’s unsettling, walk out of the forest into a sunny field. Nothing is set in stone, you get to create this space to be exactly what you want it to be. Play around with it until it’s something that you feel at home and peaceful in.
  5. Document and Repeat Once you’re happy with the initial heart space, I want you to go to your journal and document what the space looked like and felt like. I want this to be a place that you go back to over and over and I don’t want you to forget it. Once it’s documented, you can revisit that journal entry before going back so you find yourself in the same space you created the last time. Eventually, you’ll know this place by heart and it’ll become a second home to you, but in the meantime, documenting your spiritual journey is always a helpful thing to do.

You have a heart space…now what?

Ok you’ve created the space and you might be thinking…what for? Here are some things you can use your heart meditation space for:

  • Meet spirit guides
  • Visit your ancestors
  • Go to meditate
  • Practice divination
  • Explore the space and create a world that makes you feel safe and at peace
  • Play and express your inner child in a way that you don’t feel comfortable with in real life (want to skip but feel silly doing it/can’t do it anymore? Go to your heart space and skip)

Once you’ve created your heart space there’s really no limit to what you can create in that space.
